Our team significantly contributed to the high-profile transformation of a former industrial site into the vibrant Reed and Grant Sports Complex, a cornerstone of community recreation. This expansive complex features five sports fields, engaging playgrounds, and a versatile 3,800-square-foot multipurpose building designed to accommodate diverse indoor activities.
Reflecting the city's strong commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability for this large-scale project, our team delivered comprehensive electrical solutions. These included intricate underground electrical infrastructure, advanced sports and parking lot lighting systems, the integration of solar power, and the installation of electric vehicle charging stations.
Throughout the complex, energy-efficient LED lighting is utilized, primarily powered by a 40 kW photovoltaic system installed on the multipurpose building's roof. Furthermore, the parking area offers eleven convenient electric vehicle charging stalls. This thoughtful design not only helps the city maintain low operational and maintenance costs but also garnered significant recognition, with the complex receiving the 2021 Project of the Year award from the American Public Works Association.
