The CoreX cold storage facility plays a vital role in our nation's transportation infrastructure by providing crucial logistics and storage for temperature-sensitive goods. This massive, five-story facility isn't just for food; it also handles medicine and other critical supplies that require refrigeration for transport. Beyond its primary function, CoreX is committed to sustainability. They actively work to reduce waste and combat food insecurity by distributing food donated by their business partners to the community. CoreX aims to donate one million meals annually to those in need.
Our team served as the lead electrical contractor for the CoreX cold storage facility, guiding the project from its initial stages through to completion. With a dedicated crew of over 20 professionals, we meticulously managed every electrical aspect of this 350,000-square-foot facility. The project demanded the implementation of complex electrical systems to precisely maintain the necessary temperature gradients throughout the immense building. CoreX has expressed great satisfaction with the final build-out, and the facility has already proven to be a significant economic boost for the region.
